This is probably one of the fashion trends in Lagos, Nigeria that doesn't seem to be dying soon.....

But what are ripped jeans though?
I'm assuming everyone reading this blog post is familiar with the denim-jean trouser that works for both gender;

So ripped jeans are the exact same type of bottoms except they're.....RIPPED of course.

They have cuts on different parts of the clothing and some of these cuts are covered up with another type of fabric

And other times they're not. So how well do the "streets" accept this fashion trend??

Very well I must say and not surprisingly ripped jeans with parts of it taken off is rather pricy in relation to its "UN-ripped partner"

But really when does the rip become too much??

Much like "regular" jeans, ripped jeans are usually dark in colour with its indigo and dark colours and often times the rather light blue colour

This all look really good with either of the monochrome colours in plain Tees and Converse or High-Racers

Or with a short sleeved shirt of softer colour and boots
